ThedaCare is seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine physician with an interest in OB to join our team in Waupaca, WI.
Position Details:
- 1.0 FTE
- Full Scope Family Medicine/OB with C-section – rounding in hospital and Vet Home
- New Grads Accepted: Yes
- Visa Candidates: Yes
- Schedule: 4 or 4.5 days, patient contact hours 32 or 36 hours
- Call:
- Medical/OB Call:
- 1:10 Weeks – Monday-Thursday 7a-5p Hospitalist/Call, Friday 7a-7p Hospitalist/Call
- 1:10 Weekends
- Once every two weeks approximately on call 5p-7a
- C-Section call:
- Typically, a week at a time so every 4th week but approximately every 4th night – as there is flexibility with scheduling among C/S providers
- Location: TCP Waupaca, ThedaCare Waupaca Medical Center & Wisconsin Veteran’s Home as primary locations
- Hospital Privileges: Yes

- TCP Waupaca/Wild Rose Call Group consists of 4 clinics: Waupaca, Iola, Wild Rose and Plainfield. Also includes inpatient coverage at ThedaCare Waupaca and coverage at Wisconsin Veteran’s Home
- Works collaboratively with APC’s in the clinic, hospital and Vet’s home
- Clinic support staff include MA and RN. Hospital support staff include CNAs, RN, Pharmacy, Respiratory Therapy and Care Management
- Same location as Waupaca Hospital so there are MD's on site as a resource. ED is also on site for another resource as needed for consultation

ThedaCare Medical Center-Waupaca provides local care in a way that improves local access and enhances services in the community. State of the art Emergency Department averages 12,000 visits per year. 4 major trauma rooms and 4 minor exam rooms.
