The NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is looking for a board certified/board eligible OB/GYN to join our growing OB/GYN Hospitalist team in Flushing, Queens.
NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens, the largest voluntary hospital in Queens serving patients in a culturally and ethnically diverse area. This 535-bed tertiary facility is an academic affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College, and has been an integral part of the community since 1957 with active services in all medical and surgical disciplines. With 4,400 annual births, this team provides 24/7 in-house coverage, runs 3 LD operating rooms, 9 LD recovery rooms, 9 operating rooms (one is equipped with a robot), and 10 ambulatory surgery rooms. The multi-disciplinary team also includes 17 PAs, who are labor triage specialists; a team of highly experienced obstetrical nurses, as well as our ACGME accredited OB/GYN residents.
Queens, home to Flushing Meadows Park, is proud to host both the New York Mets baseball team and the US Open Tennis Tournament. As one of the most ethnically diverse urban areas in the world, Queens can satisfy nearly every taste. In the borough’s southern extremes, the surf is always up at Rockaway Beach.
The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and credentials.
The salary range for this position is $300k to $350k. This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role.
