New York - COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY - Full-time positions available now or July 1, 2026, in the Department of Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level in the Section of Hospital Medicine at The Allen Hospital.
The Allen Hospital is a community hospital of the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare Network, staffed by Columbia University and located in northern Manhattan. Full-time positions consist of shift-based coverage of general floor and step-down level of care patients.
Responsibilities include admissions, progression of care, and discharge of general medical patients with the support of Physician Assistants. In addition, we are seeking to hire ICU-capable hospitalists where there would be a mixed schedule inclusive of both general medical floor shifts and ICU shifts.
All positions include participation in ongoing educational activities involving medical students, residents, and PAs. Competitive compensation package. Excellent fringe benefit package including vacation and CME time for all full-time positions.
Minimum Degree: M.D. or equivalent medical professional degree
Minimum Qualifications: Must be board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine and eligible to practice in the State of New York. Preferably with an active New York State Medical License.
